Visit at the Leuven Botanical Gardens
At the end of the week, our teachers decided to offer our students an unforgettable day in the Leuven Botanical Gardens. Arriving in the garden, they partook not only in lessons about plants and trees but also about colors. The observed how the green of most trees from the temperate-oceanic region is slowly transformed into warm colors, from yellow toward orange. They were attracted by various small and delicate waterlilies from a lake full of fish and enchanted by the smell of multiple rose species mixed with the scent of various ripe grapes. All ended in with game with leaves and many, many flowers gathered for the herbarium of their souls.
